Intro Program

About our Intro Program
We have offered a summer camp experience with a focus on canoe and kayak since 1991. Our program is designed to promote fitness and provide an introduction to sprint canoe and kayak racing in a fun and safe environment. We also have programs for adults and a full summer camp program.

Introductory Programs
We offer 2 hour sessions on Saturdays and Sundays in May and June and weekly half day sessions in July and August, full day sessions are also available. Serious paddlers can enquire about a 2 week program.
Morning Sessions: 9 am – 12 noon
Full Day Sessions: 9 am – 4 pm
Our half-day sessions focus on learning the basics of kayaking and paddling pleasure canoe. More experienced paddlers can try sprint racing kayaks and canoes. Depending on the number of participants, there will be practice in dragon boats and war canoes.
There are also other "summer camp" activities: soccer, swimming, games, and mini-Olympics.
We keep a low ratio of campers to our certified Canoe Kayak Canada instructors.
Full day sessions combine morning and afternoon sessions with a supervised lunch program.
