Masters program
About our Adult Programs
We have programs for both experienced
sprint canoe/kayak paddlers and
introductory programs. We also offer
dragon boat training and if there is enough
interest, war canoe classes.
We also have introductory programs for
children and summer camp programs.
Experienced Masters
(Approved by Head Coach)
The clubhouse is open most mornings and
evenings in the summer to allow
experienced paddlers to go on the water in
groups. Safety of the paddlers is of primary
concern. Paddlers are advised not to
paddle alone and to wear lifejackets when
paddling in the cold weather.
Masters
For adults who would like to be full time members of the club and learn the skills for sprint racing. Coaching is available two to three times a week. The opportunity to try dragon boating and war canoe is also available.
Adult Introductory
We offer monthly introductory programs
that run one day a week for the months of
June, July and August. Paddlers will learn
in recreational kayaks and canoes and
move on to sprint boats as their skills
develop.
