Summer Programs

Our Summer Camp program is designed to introduce kids aged 8-13 years 

to the sport of racing canoe and kayak. Daily activities include on-water practice, 
team building games, swimming classes in the nearby Oak Ridges Community Center etc. 


All campers must meet the Minimum Swim Ability guideline: 

Red Cross Swim Kids 6 Certification

RHCC offers introductory summer programs, for all skill levels, for children 8+ and adult. No experience is necessary! 

Weekly Camp for Kids age 8 - 13   Before and After Programs available.  

Racing Development - For athletes age 10-16 who want to learn to compete in the sport of canoe / kayak   

Adult Introductory - 1 class a week for 4 weeks.  Wednesdays evenings  or Sundays mornings in June, July or Aug.  Age 15+

Dragonboat for community teams - we have a dragonboat avaialble for rent by community teams
