Minimum Swim Ability for Campers
Lifesaving Society Swimmer 5 Certification: Click here for more information about this program.
Red Cross Swim Kids 6 Certification: Click here for more information about this program.

Proof  of swim level is required. If you do not have a recent swim level report from either program, please have your child tested at an accredited swimming facility that will issue a letter/certificate confirming swimming ability. Your local community centre swim program or a private swim school may provide this service for a fee.

Athletes age 10-16 who want to join the club, and learn to compete in Canoe / Kayak can join the competitive entry level  Racing Development Program, which runs weekday late afternoons and Saturdays, May - Sept.  We encourage youth age 10-11 to try a camp program first, but athletic youth age 12+ may prefer to join Racing Development directly.
